How ZI drafts replies (Assist mode)

ZZiReach· Checked 6 Nov 2026

ZI prepares a reply from the conversation and the customer's profile. A person approves it before anything is sent.

Assist is the mode today

ZI works in Assist mode: it drafts, you decide. Copilot and Autopilot are not available yet, and there is no setting to change the mode.

From draft to sent

  1. Open a conversation in the Inbox. ZI prepares a reply, or you choose Draft with ZI.
  2. The draft is marked ZI draft and Draft · not sent. You can see the steps behind it, such as reading the conversation, checking the customer profile and checking availability.
  3. Choose Approve & send, Edit first, or Decline. Nothing is sent until a person approves it.

A draft that nobody approves in time expires and is never sent.

What ZI suggests

The conversation header can show a short line such as Interested or Wants a visit. It is advice for you. ZI takes no action from it.

ZI actions and the monthly allowance

A ZI reply that a person approved and that was sent counts as one ZI action. When this month's ZI actions are used up, ZI drafts pause and new conversations go to your team, who can keep replying by hand.
